Bob and Doug McKenzie in Beer, eh?

In the video Beer, eh?, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it streamed by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as a sketch to both please and laugh at dumb Canadian content statutes, the brothers morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The pair enetually would become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
