I made this as a student editing project back in college, editing it on 3/4″ tape sourced from low-quality VHS recordings of STAR WARS and STRANGE BREW and audio cassette recordings of the McKenzie Brothers’ two record albums. Imagine my surprise when in 2006 I discovered that a complete stranger who somehow got a copy of a low-quality dub took it upon himself to recreate my film, edit by edit, using higher-quality copies of the same source material, while still crediting me as the original editor.
Some of the timing and choices of audio clips was a little different than my version, so in this version I have taken the liberty of slightly tweaking the soundtrack (and the timing of the titles) to match my original edit a little more closely.
I hope you enjoy these twelve minutes of fan absurdity.

I will never forget bringing this VHS tape back to SLC from LA and showing it to a group of friends during our weekly Hootenanny. It took us about 45 minutes to get through because we had to pause for laughter, and we kept rewinding to rewatch certain jokes. So grateful you have posted it again, still have the original VHS tape of this (though it is pretty worn out.) Loved getting to revisit a lovely chapter from my 20's, if only for 12 minutes.
As a HUGE STAR WARS fan and a HUGE Bob & Doug fan, this was perfect!!! The lines were matched up perfectly!!!! Seamlessly!!!!
