Bob and Doug McKenzie in Berry 12 Days of Christmas

In the video Berry 12 Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was aired on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by Dave Thomas. The bit was brought to life originally as filler to both please and make fun of legal Canadian content statutes, the duo turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The two became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
