Bob and Doug McKenzie in BIO’s Dave Thomas joins the #BIO2018 Buzz Center

In the video BIO’s Dave Thomas joins the #BIO2018 Buzz Center, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was born originally as filler to both satisfy and make fun of legal Canadian content policies, the pair turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
