Bob and Doug McKenzie in Black Christmas

In the video Black Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was aired on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by actor Dave Thomas. It was brought to life originally as fluff to both satisfy and makes jokes about network Canadian content laws, the brothers transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The brothers went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
