Bob and Doug McKenzie in Bluray Update – Maximum Effort!

In the video Bluray Update – Maximum Effort!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a skit which was included on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was aired on CBC Television in 1980. Bob’s part is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug is played by comic Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh at non sensical Canadian content legislation, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The pair enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
