In the video Bob and Dog McKenzie Live Reunion , Take Off, Eh! – Live July 18, 2017, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV for the show’s third season when it got sold to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although born originally as an idea to both satisfy and make fun of dumb Canadian content policies, the pair grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
