Bob and Doug McKenzie in Bob and Doug ~ 12 Days Of Christmas
In the video Bob and Doug ~ 12 Days Of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was aired on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob’s part is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a joke to both please and mock network Canadian content statutes, the characters turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The pair soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
A video I made way back in 2007 of this classic Xmas song redone by the great Canadian duo Bob and Doug McKenzie! Hope you enjoy the video, have a great Christmas while you indulge in some donuts and eggnog, then feel free to take off eh you hosers. =)
