Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by Dave Thomas. Although created originally as filler to both satisfy and makes jokes about network Canadian content rules, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The brothers went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
