Bob and Doug McKenzie in Bob and Doug 12 days

In the video Bob and Doug 12 days, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s third season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was brought to life originally as an idea to both satisfy and mock stupid Canadian content guidelines, the duo grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
