Bob McKenzie is created by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Although made originally as a sketch to both satisfy and makes jokes about silly Canadian content laws, the duo transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The pair enetually would become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
