In the video Bob and Doug and Robert and Douglas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is created by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Although made originally as a sketch to both satisfy and makes jokes about silly Canadian content laws, the duo transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The pair enetually would become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
