Bob and Doug McKenzie in Bob and Doug Episode 1 Back to School

In the video Bob and Doug Episode 1 Back to School, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sold to CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob McKenzie is created by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh about annoying Canadian content demands, the duo became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The pair became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
