  1. I’m American, but I grew up close enough to the Canadian border that I knew what a toque was long before I ever heard this song. (Also, Montreal and Ottawa are closer to me than the two biggest cities in my own state.)

  2. Since this goes up to eight, I thought of four other ones for this song (followed by their lyrics)
    Twelve hockey players
    Eleven beaver tails
    Ten caribou
Nine ice skates (and then of course)
    Eight comic books
    Seven packs of smokes
    Six packs of two-fours
    FIVE GOLDEN TOQUES
    Four pounds of back bacon
    Three French toast
    Two turtlenecks
And a beer in a tree

  4. This has been my favorite version of 12 days of Christmas since 1981. I love this every year!! Never fails to crack me up every time!!! I drive my kids nuts with this one every Christmas.

  5. Uhhhhhmmmmm,WHY is Doug so freakin THIN in this video!?!!? C'mon You hosers……….Dave Thomas had that classic "Beer-gut" from the Great White North,eh?
