In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie – Freaking out your cat and Donuts, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was developed originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh at dumb Canadian content policies, the duo became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
