In the video Bob and Doug Mckenzie helped me swear at school!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and laugh about annoying Canadian content rules, the pair became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
