In the video Bob and Doug Mckenzie Mouse in a Bottle, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was aired on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a skit to both satisfy and mock stupid Canadian content demands, the characters transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
