In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a skit which was included on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob McKenzie is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by Dave Thomas. It was brought to life originally as filler to both satisfy and makes jokes about legal Canadian content statutes, the two transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
