In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie – Strange Brew Clip #1, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is played by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as an idea to both fulfill and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content legislation, the two turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The two soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
