In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie – Strange Brew Clip #13, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hilarious Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was featured on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was brought to life originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh at silly Canadian content demands, the characters morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
