In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie – Strange Brew Clip #16, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a segment which was featured on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. The bit was brought to life originally as a skit to both please and make fun of stupid Canadian content laws, the siblings turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The brothers soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
