In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie – Strange Brew Clip #19, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of made up Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s character is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and mock stupid Canadian content demands, the pair became a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The two enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
