In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie – Strange Brew goes to BEER CAMP, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as an idea to both please and laugh about legal Canadian content guidelines, the characters grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
