In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie Take Off 45, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a program which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it was featured on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as a joke to both fulfill and laugh about annoying Canadian content rules, the duo transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the States. The two soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
