Bob and Doug McKenzie in Bob and Doug McKenzie, the Canadian Icons!

In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie, the Canadian Icons!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a skit which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by actor Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as an idea to both please and laugh about network Canadian content rules, the brothers transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The two soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
