In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie – The Twelve Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as a skit to both satisfy and laugh about non sensical Canadian content laws, the brothers morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The pair soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
