In the video Bob and Doug McKenzie – Twelve Days Of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob is brought to life by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as filler to both please and laugh at annoying Canadian content demands, the two morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The characters later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
