In the video Bob and Doug Promo Replaced Audio Project, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was shown on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and make fun of dumb Canadian content demands, the two grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The brothers went on to become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
