In the video Bob and Doug, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it moved to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh at legal Canadian content legislation, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
