In the video Bob and Doug Sing 12 Days of Christmas – Animax Entertainmen.mp4, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s character is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh at dumb Canadian content guidelines, the two became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The two soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
