Bob and Doug McKenzie in Bob and Doug Sing 12 Days of Christmas

In the video Bob and Doug Sing 12 Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a program which was included on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s character is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as a joke to both please and mock network Canadian content legislation, the pair turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
