Bob and Doug McKenzie in Bob and Doug – The 12 Days of Christmas

In the video Bob and Doug – The 12 Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s part is created by the funny Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by comic Dave Thomas. It was made originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about legal Canadian content guidelines, the brothers transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The pair enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
