In the video bob and doug.wmv, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob is created by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as filler to both please and laugh at dumb Canadian content legislation, the characters turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The two soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
