In the video Bob Brozman Sittin In w Doug Cox #3.mov, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was featured on SCTV for the show’s third season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as an idea to both fulfill and make fun of legal Canadian content policies, the pair grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The pair soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
