Bob and Doug McKenzie in Bob Doug – Blues Man

In the video Bob Doug – Blues Man, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in . Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh about network Canadian content statutes, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The two soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
