In the video Bob & Doug “Clearing the Air!”, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was aired on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by Dave Thomas. The sketch was born originally as a skit to both please and mock network Canadian content rules, the siblings turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The pair soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
