Bob and Doug McKenzie in Bob & Doug: “Comic-Strip Panels”

In the video Bob & Doug: “Comic-Strip Panels”, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a program which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob is created by Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by comic Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a sketch to both satisfy and laugh about network Canadian content demands, the characters transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The two soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
