In the video Bob Doug – Driven By Sex (Live Archives ’86 – Ronquières Festival), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it moved to CBC Television in 1980. Bob is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was born originally as fluff to both satisfy and laugh at legal Canadian content statutes, the duo became a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
