Bob and Doug McKenzie in Bob Doug – Friends [LIVE]
In the video Bob Doug – Friends [LIVE], Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian siblings who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is played by Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as fluff to both satisfy and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content statutes, the pair morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
