In the video BOB & DOUG McKENZIE ► Take Off 【HD】, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it got sent to CBC Television in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as fluff to both please and make fun of annoying Canadian content laws, the pair became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
