Underrated line: "It's like a condensed version of a Saturday night, eh?"
“It’s like a condensed version of a Saturday night”. GOLD
Beer and donuts are delicious.
Lee Iacocca's Rock Concert for Amerika
I’ve heard this dozens of times, since I recorded it off the air way back then, and ripped it to mp3 some time ago.
Donut World …. ha
Hosers Forever
Think of me like that with a little gift that's my new description have to keep re inventing yourself
Gosh, this reminds of my college days in the 60's ….I was C student who sold my blood for beer money ..Later , I did a lot better ….I could only go up …)))
A cop didnt like my park job at Timmys, her radio went so ya know she had to take off eh! (True story)
Why nobody has come up with a beer snd donut shop I’ll never know think of their commercials!!! beauty aye?
lol!
This show made me even prouder to be a Canadian…hosers!
The Great White North and The McKenzie brothers were created for one reason. Canadian TV rules at the time of Second City TV, said you had to have an extra 2 minutes and 5 seconds of programming then a US broadcast. That is also why "Hinterland's Who's Who" exists. But SCTV took this a challenge and created Bob and Doug just to fill this time requirement.
The rest is just Canadian Comedy Gold.
Hi Ren!
That’s Tim Hortons for you.
Damn. Even hosers speaking “like” English. When is this irritating madness going to end?
I watched this when it was broadcast on SCTV bitd. I had the Great White North album on vinyl.
"Take off you hosers!"
Bob & Doug McKenzie forever, I loved these guys back then and didn't realize how much I miss watching them until seeing this old clip. Good stuff thx for the memories.
My favorite recurring sketch on SCTV.
They're like a gown up version of Corey and Trevor.
Donut World?!? Aw, missed opportunity. TIM HORTON'S RULES !
The origin of this, per Dave Thomas, was the CBC wanted more Canadian content. he said "wtf does that even mean?" and they did this
Looks cold in there.
They could never make this today. The biting political satire would infuriate the cancel happy snowflakes at National Post and Rebel Media.
Bob & Doug McKenzie, Red Green, The Yoopers, and Jeff Foxworthy all walked into a bar.
The universe imploded from the sheer awesomeness.
The end.
Still funny decades later. I grew up with guys like that. “A condensed version of Saturday night.”
I see where Mike Myers got the idea for Wayne's World
Strange Brew! One of my all time favorite movies!!
Funny as he'll my favorite
So much funnier than SNL.
I think Mike Myers and Dana Carvey were paying special attention to this duo's brilliant routine. Remind you of a very successful sketch from SNL?
Need more A. ☺
Anti white male racism above. Bigotry clowns.
Yeah, they need more parking spots.
BEAUTY,EH!
fuck I miss the good old days .
I miss sketch comedy when it was actually funny. These guys were great!
Bob and Doug need a new generation
Yes, for once the bureaucrats demanding Canadian Content accidentally caused the creation of a classic.
24-hour donut shops must be what makes Canada great
I still have Rosie LaRoses' hockey card, eh.
Created because the show was required to have 2-minutes of Canadian content. They delivered, and now it's legend…
They never knew back then that drive-thrus would usher in a golden era of donut service to all mankind.
