In the video Bob & Doug McKenzie-fish derby, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s third season when it got sent to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was born originally as filler to both fulfill and mock non sensical Canadian content rules, the brothers turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The two enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
