In the video Bob & Doug McKenzie – My Channel Inspiration #shorts, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it was aired on CBC Television in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was made originally as filler to both please and laugh at non sensical Canadian content rules, the characters transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
