In the video Bob & Doug McKenzie – My Channel Inspiration #shorts, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sold to CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although born originally as an idea to both satisfy and make fun of annoying Canadian content guidelines, the two transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
