In the video BOB & DOUG MCKENZIE – PIZZA HUT COMMERCIALS (1985), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on CBC Television in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as a joke to both satisfy and makes jokes about legal Canadian content policies, the characters morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The brothers became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
