In the video Bob & Doug Mckenzie – Strange Brew 40 years later eh! – Teaser – Lazyboys’ Night = Ep. 23-34, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of strange Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it aired by CBC Television in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was developed originally as a skit to both please and mock non sensical Canadian content rules, the duo transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The two went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
