In the video Bob & Doug McKenzie: The Great White North Album ‘Black Holes’ Played Backwards’, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a segment which was shown on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to CBC Television in 1980. Bob’s character is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as fluff to both fulfill and laugh at annoying Canadian content laws, the siblings became a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
