In the video Bob & Doug McKenzie Toy Sounds – CollectionDX, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a program which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite made originally as a sketch to both fulfill and makes jokes about silly Canadian content policies, the pair morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
