In the video Bob & Doug McKenzie, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of strange Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was aired on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by comic Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as fluff to both fulfill and laugh about stupid Canadian content policies, the two became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
