In the video Bob & Doug McKenzie, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a program which was shown on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although made originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and laugh at non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the brothers morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The two soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
